Arriving past the sump interior biotower two stage / three-phase bacteria storage generators, the freshly prefiltered, c.o.d. injected, and biologically processed water can then pass down through the bio media storage drain support plate, and along the bio media storage drain box quite flow down plate, before then passing through to the lower wall slots of the sump interior panel refugium separation panel, and into the refugium chamber (if present) where here, live animals and plants can be placed for exposure to a lighting schedule which should be timed completely opposite to that of the main habitat chamber area via the optional internal tower sump biologic trapping filter w/ c.o.d. internal LED dual tube light fixture or LED array light fixture with the sump exterior light fixture remote control and the sump exterior LED light fixture dual tube or LED fixture array hood.
By running opposite lighting on the B.A.W.P.S. multi tower sump filter w/ c.o.d. live plant refugium chamber (if present), positioned midway in the main sump filter assembly the aquaculturist can now produce a separate day time simulated carbon monoxide consumption filtering period within the refugium chamber, (a period during the daytime in which the plants in the refugium are subjected to darkness and absorb the harmful carbon dioxide being released during the daytime hours by the inhabitants of the main living aquatic area). This process incorporates photosynthesis as a method of water purification.
